Season 4 of Doctor Who was a brilliant season. He and Catherine Tate (donna) had such good chemistry together. Season 4 delves into the heart of the Doctor. Much is revealed about who he is.He faces body fat gonna bad, we see old friends and enemies and the return of the people the doctor cares the most about. Especially one in particular. He faces his most deadly enemy the Daleks and an old enemy he thought gone forever. Rose comes back as does many old friends. Guest appearences abound. The main theme of the series is the Return of Rose and the heart of the doctor. We see him as more vulnerable and more devious. With Russell t Davies leaving the show (thank god) season 4 ties many themes from the past 4 years so that when it begins a new its a fresh start. The 2 part final is brilliant and heart wrenching as seems to be the case in all the final episodes to date. We see old friends come to help including his beloved Sarah Jane. We see a most evil enemy return in the Daleks and there creator the most evil Davros. David Tennant again was brilliant as the doctor. Lots of returns this season. The daleks, the sontarans, the ood, davros, captain jack, Rose etc etc. A great season or as the doctor would say FANTASTIC (less)
